Packed with safety.
The i30 N features the latest in Hyundai SmartSenseTM[P6], our cutting-edge
suite of driver safety technologies developed to alert you to and help you avoid
dangers so you can focus on the joy of driving.

Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA)
FCA utilises front radar sensors and a windshield-mounted camera to detect cars, pedestrians, and cyclists in front of the i30 N. The system can warn of a potential obstacle ahead, and apply braking to help mitigate a potential collision.

Lane Following Assist (LFA)
LFA uses the i30 N’s front windshield-mounted camera to detect lane markers and preceding traffic on the road and provides steering assistance to help you stay safely centred in your lane while driving.

Lane Keeping Assist (LKA)
LKA helps you stay inside the lines. If you’re driving your i30 N above a certain speed and you begin to leave a lane without your turn signal on, LKA provides a warning and can assist with steering to help prevent leaving the lane.

High Beam Assist (HBA)
When driving at night, High Beam Assist can automatically enable the high beams when safe to do so. HBA will detect nearby vehicles through the windscreen mounted camera, and automatically disable the high beams when at risk of dazzling a nearby driver.

Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA)
Like a second set of eyes, this system uses radar sensors in the rear bumper to look out for vehicles in the driver’s rear blind spot. When BCA detects a vehicle in those blind spots, it can provide audible alerts and braking assistance to reduce the possibility of a collision.

Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist (RCCA)
When backing out from a parking spot, RCCA detects vehicles approaching from the left or right. The sensor issues an audible alert and visual warning on the dashboard and, if necessary, initiates a braking manoeuvre.

Safe Exit Warning (SEW)
This system detects oncoming vehicles approaching from the rear and alerts the driver that it may be dangerous for passengers to exit the i30 N. Both a sound and a pop-up visual warning appear on the dashboard.
